TodayThe following paragraphs document the show highlights of the Airedales that we campaigned during the ten years that we were active in the show ring, as well as the highlights of the Airedales that we sold. We have not been active in showing for several years and no Airedales that carry our kennel name are currently being shown, however many of Marek's descendents are still active in the show ring. We are no longer having litters and the only Airedales that live with us are Juanita and Fox. The other Airedales mentioned below all live elsewhere and are either co-owned or owned outright by someone else. Can. Ch. Rollingstone's Special AngelFor us, it all started with Angel from our first litter. Angel was born in 1991 and everyone agreed that she was the "pick" of the litter. She has a wonderfully sweet personality but at the same time she has the true Terrier determination. She quickly became our first champion. Little did we know at that time that Angel was destined to become the dam of a Best In Show Airedale and the dam of the Number One Airedale in both Canada and Russia, as well as the grand-dam of a another Best In Show Airedale. All of these wins were owner handled. Her children have earned a total of 10 championships. Her grandchildren have earned many more to date. Angel's sire was Can. Ch. Cymbeline Tinman and her dam was Can. Ch. Cymbeline Orange Blossom [picture]. Angel was bred to Am. Ch. Harringtons T'NT "Nitro" in 1994 and 1995. Angel [picture] and Nitro [picture] produced the following champions: Angel's 1994 LitterCan. Ch. Unknown Legend Juanita was our fourth Canadian champion, winning a Best Puppy in Group in 1995 and finishing with a Best of Breed over 10 other Airedales in September 1996. In October 1997 she completed her International championship in just one weekend with back-to-back Group Firsts. In January 1998 she completed her American championship in just six shows with three majors under respected terrier judges Edd Embry Bivin, William Bergum and Lydia Coleman Hutchinson. Under William Bergum she made the cut and defeated 158 terriers in group. In Canada, as a specials, Juanita won 28 Best of Breeds, won the Group 3 times and placed in Group an additional 14 times, during July, August and September of 1998. Click here to load her slideshow. To start the slideshow click the tiny arrow that will appear on the far left in the popup box. Included in the above wins are Best of Breed at the Airedale Terrier Club
of Canada Western Booster, and Group 3rd at the All Terrier Club of Alberta
Speciality (defeating 129 terriers), both under respected Airedale breeder/judge Mrs. Susan Kealy from Ireland. Also included is Group 4th at the British Columbia All Terrier Club Regional Speciality under respected terrier breeder/judge Mrs. Jo Ann Dutton

Juanita went on maternity leave in October, at which time we believe that
she was Number One Airedale in Canada. We do know for sure that she
was Number One at August 8, 1998 as reported by Terrier Times. In the final standings for 1998 Juanita was ranked:
Just before going on maternity leave, Juanita went to the Airedale Terrier Club of America Speciality at Montgomery on October 4, 1998, where, with an entry of 207 Airedales, she made the cut in Best of Breed under respected Airedale breeder/judge Mrs. Virginia Latham Smith [picture]. The previous day at Devon she also made the cut in Best of Breed under respected terrier judge Mr. Edd Embry Bivin. Juanita was exclusively owner handled and conditioned to all three championships, as a specials in Canada, and at Montgomery. In 1998 Juanita was bred to Am. Ch. Serendipity Terrydale HK X-F. "Mulder" won an Award of Merit at Montgomery in 1998 and 1999 and at Westminster in 1999. As reported by the American Airedale he was number one Airedale Dog (Knight System) for 1998. From this breeding we kept "Fox" [pictures] who is a proven sire, producing lovely heads and temperaments, with great movement. Fox's OFA rating is "Good". Fox was the Number Three Airedale Sire in Canada for 2000-2001. This is based on the number of his offspring that earned their Canadian championships. Juanita was bred again and in 2000 she presented us with four girls and four boys. Four of these pups are in show homes. They are Can. Ch. Rollingstone Evil Ways (Carlos) [see below], Can. Ch. Rollingstone Shades of Time (Harrison) [see below], Can. Ch. Rollingstone Black Magic (Twinkles) [see below] and Can. Ch. Rollingstone Gypsy Queen (Jill) [see below]. The registered names were inspired by Carlos Santana's early work. Thanks to Carlos, Harrison, Twinkles and Jill; Juanita was the Number Two Airedale Dam in Canada for 2000-2001. In December 1994 we sold our pick male from the Angel and Nitro breeding, to Natasha Sterling, in Saint Petersburg. We were thrilled to be given the opportunity to introduce "new blood" to the Russian Airedales. In 1995 Marek won a Reserve Best In Show - Junior as a puppy at "Terrier-95" in Saint Petersburg, Russia [picture]. In 1997 Marek won Best In Show 3rd at "Winner-97", Reserve Best In Show at "Salut Peterburg" and Best In Show at " Terrier-97". He also won Group 3rd at "DOSAAF" Group 1st at "White Nights-97" [picture], Group 1st at "Russian Fermer" and Reserve Group at "Peterburgskie Vstrechi". In 1998 Marek won Reserve Group at "Winner-98", Group 3rd at "Championat Severnoy Palmiri", and Reserve Group at the "All Russian Show". In 1999 with very limited showing, Marek won Group 3rd at the "Christmas Dog Show", BOS at "Eurasia-99" and BOB at "White Nights-99". The is no official ranking system in Russia but according to our records Marek was the Number One Airedale in Russia for 1997, 1998 and 1999. Marek was owned handled by Natasha Sterling to all his wins. Marek's offspring are also having a great deal of success in the show ring. His son Quick Fly Tinkler won Best of Breed and Reserve Group at "Terrier-98". His daughter Quick Fly Temptation won Reserve CACIB at the World Dog Show in Helsinki in 1998.
At "Eurasia 2002" in Moscow, Marek's daughter Rus Kornels Bravo Ekaterina went Winners Bitch (CACIB), Best of Breed, Group 1st and Best In Show. Ekaterina was also owner handled all the way. Here is Ekaterina's Best In Show picture courtesy of the Russian Terrier Club. Her dam is Impression Of Beauty Kornels. Her litter brother, Rus Kornels Bravo Elisey went Winners Dog (CACIB) and Best of Opposite Sex. A litter sister, Rus Kornels Bravo Elizaveta went Reserve Winners Bitch (Res CACIB). Another Marek daughter, Quick Fly Kiwi Karamel (dam - Pritty Fly Bright Nose) won the Intermediate Bitch Class. Marek was the sire of 4 of the 9 class winners at "Eurasia 2002" and grand sire of Quick Fly Martinika (sire Quick Fly Tinkler - dam Pritty Fly Bright Nose) winner of the Junior Bitch class and Best Junior. Angel's 1995 LitterCan. Ch. Rollingstone's All My
Loving Angie was our third champion. She won 12 Best of Breed/Best of Opposite Sex, out of 15 entries as a puppy, plus 4 Best Puppy in Group [picture], all owner handled and conditioned. In May of 1999 Angie had her first litter [picture]. Racy's 1999 LitterCan. Ch. Raysend Daring At Rollingstone RU - OFA Good Racy belongs to Galina Rudenkova in Russia. In December 1999 Galina sent us a very promising young boy. You can find more information on Darek and his parents here . His pedigree is a mixture of English, Russian and Danish Airedales. To view Darek's pedigree click here. What the pedigree doesn't show is that Eng Ch Siccawei Galliard appears a total of 54 times in the background (10 generations) and contributes 37.11% of Darek's genes, Eng Ch Jokyl Gallipants appears 4 times and contributes 17.19% while Eng Ch Jokyl Smartie Pants appears 6 times and contributes 11.72%. Eng Ch Siccawei Galliard sired seventeen English Champions making him the Top Sire of the breed. One of his sons, Eng Ch Jokyl Gallipants, was Top Dog All Breeds by a wide margin in 1983 and went Best of Breed at Crufts twice. Gallipant's dam, Eng Ch Jokyl Smartie Pants, held the bitch record for winning the highest number of CCs in 1976 and produced a record number of English Champions making her the Top Brood Bitch. On the Russian side of Darek's pedigree perhaps the most important contribution came from Ru Ch Sandys Singing In The Rain (Seva). More recently, Darek's aunt on his sire's side, Eng Ch Branded Hot Jazz, went Best of Opposite Sex at Crufts and Best of Breed at Leeds in 2000. Darek's litter brother Rus Ch Raysend Dazzling (Kirill) won a Best In Show in Russia. Juanita's 2000 LitterCan. Ch. Rollingstone Gypsy Queen In four shows in late 2000, Jill went Best of Breed twice and Best of Opposite Sex twice.
