Reed is 3 weeks old today, can you believe it? She's growing far too fast. I'm enjoying every moment of being a mom. We love to go for walks, do our exercises (Reed does 10 squats, 10 finger grips, and 10 kicks every morning - it's part of our routine), eat and play (although she still looks cross-eyed sometimes). Other than that, we're still doing great. Feel free to contiue writing comments to me - I'll write back next week.
Sara and Reed
Well, it's been a while since I wrote anything, so here's an update. Reed is doing great, she's eating lots and sleeping well. We spend most of our days still visiting with people, going for walks, and getting used to the new routine. We would like to thank everyone who has been so generous to send gifts, flowers, and more gifts - Reed is already spoiled. We really appreciate the thought and generosity.
I have some more good pictures of Reed that I will try to get on the website as soon as possible, they're getting developed right now.

Sara and Reed
Reed has been an excellent baby so far. I'm already very lucky because she's slept through the night since she was born...which allows me to get enough sleep. Everything is going excellent! I'm going to try to make a visit to all the cardiac rehab classes this week or next - so stay tuned.
Reeds favorite activities still include sleeping, eating, and pooping. She has still yet to say her first words or walk (that was meant to be sarcastic).

Well, we arrived home from the hospital when Reed was 24 hours old. She has been an absolute delight and is eating, pooping, and sleeping well. I have been very lucky to have had two full nights of sleep, so I can't necessarily say I'm sleep deprived...yet. The last two days have been the greatest. Thank you to everyone for hanging in there and supporting me when I was overdue, thinking that labor may never happen. Congratulations to Keith, the winner of the baby pool...you did us proud!
There will be some pictures of Reed available on the website very soon...she's very cute (what else can I say).
I'll write again very soon. Don't stop sending comments...we have a whole year ahead of us. I'll let you know when she smiles for the first time, laughs, talks, walks,........................this could go on for a while.

Keith from Sara's Monday, Wednesday, Friday 11:00 a.m. class won the baby pool.
Reed Catherine Hodson, was born on March 31st at 3:07 p.m. weighing 8 lbs. 9 oz.
Sara and Reed are both doing fine and will be out of the hospital soon.
